Contract: 12 months fixed term contract, full time, 35 hours per week
Location: Kings Hill based, with hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
This is an exciting opportunity to join the CAF team during a period of significant change as we look to bring in new roles to support our organisation’s vision and ambitions. CAF is undergoing a number of changes to replace end-of-life legacy systems with fully supported and integrated SAS platforms.
We are seeking an experienced business analyst with a broad level of experience using various tools and technologies to play a pivotal role delivering analysis and coordinating activity between IT, business stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of a new Finance system. Applicants should have a detailed understanding of UAT, end to end testing and data controls along with some previous experience and understanding of working on Finance systems, specific knowledge of Sage Intacct finance system is desirable.
What you’ll do
- Work with business teams, vendors and technology teams to elicit, prioritise and communicate the functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support and coordinate any as-is/to-be state of process work, identifying formal and informal business processes in the organization, and obtaining the context in which the process is performed and the value generated.
- You will use the most appropriate tools and techniques to support the analysis, development, testing and implementation of the new system(s) and corresponding integrations.
- Create and maintain any materials that reinforce the transition to the desired business outcomes (e.g. business requirements documents, process flows, wireframes, data analysis, design specifications, test plans etc.
Additional Responsibilities
- You will ensure the adherence to agreed governance standards and apply best practice approaches to assigned tasks.
- You will look for opportunities to make changes and recommendations to improve processes and look to encourage your peers to do the same.
- You will use a range of highly effective investigation techniques to identify, capture, analyse and validate requirements in an efficient way.
- You must be a self-starter who is proactive and self-motivated, someone who takes responsibility and pride in their work.
- You must be able to communicate at all levels in simplistic non-technical terms, must be comfortable to challenge scope and validate requirements at all times to achieve accuracy.
