Test Manager - 12 months Fixed Term Contract

We have an opportunity for you to join our team as our Test Manager for the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). You will be an integral part of our IT team using your Test Manager skills to look afer a programme of testing for our transformation programme for CAF Bank.  You will be joining us at implementation stage.

Our office is based in Kingshill, Kent where you will need to go occasionally but you will be primarily working from home.

You will join us on a full time, fixed term basis working Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week. Office hours are 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch but flexibility is available.

As our Test Manager  your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all aspects of testing including reporting for the transformation programme.
  • Provide confidence in the delivery of hardware and software through consultation and reporting
  • Providing leadership and guidance to systems testers
  • Providing a point of expertise in Software Testing to internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing confidence that software solutions delivered are appropriate to the business needs by adhering to Software Testing best practise methods
  • Understanding  the technical environment and provide practical testing solutions
  • Determining when Acceptance Testing is appropriate, to engage and coach the business.
  • Promoting quality throughout the development lifecycle.


Skills required of our Test Manager :

  • Test Management Experience in software
  • Complete lifecycle project experience
  • Test case development and design
  • Functional test script development and execution
  • Ability to progress and implement tasks
  • ISTQB qualification
  • TRANSACT T24 highly desirable but training will be provided
  • Jira experience desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Excellent relationship builder
  • Proactive and solutions focused
