Job title: Senior Sales & Purchase Ledger Assistant
Contract: Fixed Term Contract, 6 Months
Based in: Hybrid working, Kings Hill base
Hours: 35 hour per week
Salary: £33,000 per annum
We have a great opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Sales & Purchase Ledger Assistant for the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) You will be an integral part of the Finance team ensuring adherence to controls and processes; overseeing both the sales and purchased ledgers. This will include raising invoices and undertaking credit control for the sales ledger and assisting with the maintenance of purchase ledger ensuring payments made on a timely basis. Assisting with other Finance reports including the VAT return.
Our International Head office is based in Kings Hill, Kent where you will initially be based full time for training and you will be based mainly in the office but with some time working from home.
You will join us on a full time, fixed term basis working Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week. Working hours are 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch but flexibility is available.

As our Senior Sales & Purchase Ledger Assistant your key responsibilities will include:
- Raising sales invoices and sending to customers
- Recording cash collection on a timely basis
- Reviewing aged debts and taking appropriate action
- Registering purchase invoices and associated payment runs
- Liaison with the Procurement team
- Preparation of VAT return workings
