Contract:             Permanent, full time, 35 hours per week

Location:             London based with hybrid working (min 2 days per week in the office and travel to Kings Hill when necessary)

Salary:                 £35,000 - £37,000 per annum (depending on experience)  

Are you curious, detail-oriented and motivated by using data to support social impact and informed decision-making?

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail to be our Impact & Performance Data Executive to join our Impact Accelerator team at the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).  This role would suit someone with experience in data, reporting or impact measurement, and an interest in social impact.

What you will do

At CAF, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Impact & Performance Data Executive you too will play an integral part in what we do.

You will:

  • Collect and manage impact and performance data across the team, making sure information is complete, accurate and consistent helping colleagues use data and evidence more effectively.
  • Produce regular dashboards and reports for internal and external audiences, with clear commentary to support decisions.
  • Work with colleagues to resolve data queries, improve reporting processes and support high-quality reporting.
  • Use systems and financial information to support reporting, reconciliations and a clear audit trail.
  • Support wider IA projects with research, analysis and reporting, including helping to showcase the team’s impact and influence.
  • As this is a new role, further opportunities to shape and develop it are likely to emerge over time.

Who we are looking for

This role could be a good fit if you have experience in data, impact or evaluation, or if you can bring relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference.

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience of data analysis, reporting, impact measurement and/or evaluation in a charity, social impact, grantmaking, consulting, public sector or similarly mission-led environment.
  • Experience of producing regular dashboards, management information or performance reports for internal and/or external audiences.
  • Experience of checking data quality, resolving data queries and maintaining accurate records or audit trails.
  • Broad understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations and the relationship between operational data and finance reporting.
  • Experience of supporting multiple stakeholders and co-ordinating inputs across teams to meet reporting deadlines.
