Location: Kings Hill based with hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a talented Financial Crime Officer to join our Financial Crime Compliance team at CAF Bank, part of Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
What you’ll do
At CAF Bank, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Financial Crime Officer you too will play an integral part in what we do.
In this role, you will support the second line of defence by helping oversee how financial crime risks are managed across the bank. Working closely with the Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer, you will contribute to the effective operation of systems controls and expert guidance that protect the bank and the charities we serve.
As a Financial Crime Officer you will:
- Support oversight of systems and controls to manage money laundering and terrorist financing risks
- Review, investigate and support approval of higher risk customers and transactions
- Act as a point of reference for financial crime matters across the bank
- Provide advice and guidance on risks relating to money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, fraud, tax evasion, sanctions and bribery & corruption
- Develop and maintain policies procedures and risk-based requirements
- Produce management information and reporting to support effective oversight
Who we are looking for
This role is for you if you have experience of working in financial crime within a financial institution or a regulated environment or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society.
We are looking for:
- Knowledge of money laundering and terrorist financing risks
- Experience working with systems and controls in a regulated environment
- Ability to assess higher risk customers and activity using a risk based approach
- Experience contributing to policies procedures or risk frameworks
- Confidence producing clear and accurate management information
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
