Location: Kings Hill-based (Kent) with hybrid working - 2 days per week in the Kings Hill Office.

Salary: Up to £45,900 per annum (depending on experience)

Can you help us support card-based payments and fraud liability to power the impact of the Charity sector? We’re looking for a talented Business Card and Fraud Specialist to join our team at CAF Bank, part of Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

What you’ll do

CAF Bank exists to serve charities in fulfilling their mission; and our Business Card solution helps make payments simple. We also ensure that we keep up to date with the latest fraud trends impacting our customers, taking swift and decisive action to mitigate the fraud risk exposed to our customers. Our Business Card and Fraud Specialist will be a vital role in supporting our existing Card offering, developing our future plans and managing the fraud risks of both ourselves and our customers.

As part of the Card Team; you will support our Card servicing and fraud mitigation, reporting directly in to our Card Product Owner and Service Delivery Manager. Working with partners from across the business you will support our understanding of the environment and support the projects that will keep us current and our customers protected and able to make the purchases they need.

As our Business Card and Fraud Specialist you will:

  • Support Card Team colleagues, and other business areas, providing SME knowledge on cards and fraud
  • Work as part of the CAF Bank Card Team supporting the existing Business Card product and future developments of the product offering
  • Maintain active contact with our Customer Service Teams to proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with our Financial Intelligence Team to develop and deliver effective fraud mitigation
  • Monitor and maintain effective tools for the prevention of fraud

Who you’ll be

This role is for you if you have experience of working in Cards and Bank Fraud or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society. We are looking for:

  • Card industry experience, ideally relating to card issuing
  • Keen to positively challenge and enhance existing products and services
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Knowledge of fraud typologies
  • Ability to embrace and support change
