We’re looking for a talented Senior UX Research & Insights Manager to join our Research Team, that sits within the Group Brand & Marketing Directorate at the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
What you’ll do

You will drive research and insight that shapes our digital transformation, ensuring customer needs are at the heart of every decision. Working collaboratively across teams and with external partners, you’ll design, deliver and disseminate high-quality, actionable research that informs product development and enhances customer experience.
As our Senior UX Research & Insights Manager you will:
- Lead discovery activities with Product and Delivery teams to identify research needs aligned to customer journeys and priorities
- Plan and carry out user needs and usability research, embedding findings into agile delivery cycles
- Manage suppliers and liaise with recruiters and tech-platform providers to create the best environment for research
- Create and test concepts, wireframes, and customer journeys to validate hypotheses and pain points
- Produce actionable artefacts such as personas, journey maps, and backlog-ready features, ensuring insights are embedded into product planning
- Upskill the existing research team by sharing expertise and building confidence in UX research and usability testing methods
Who you’ll be
This role is for you if you have experience of working in UX research and insights or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society. We are looking for:
- Considerable experience working in a UX research/insight capacity in either an agency or client-side
- Experience presenting to a wide range of stakeholders and advocating for the customer
- Experience collaborating widely and using both qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Experience creating digital stimulus (wireframes, prototypes, etc.)
- Someone who is adept at pulling out key insights and communicating them clearly to a range of different audiences (e.g. dev teams up to Exec board)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident presentation skills, and stakeholder management
- High levels of attention to detail, delivery focused, open and collaborative demeanour, adaptable and pragmatic
